oh so slow
Apparently government does not move at the same pace as the rest of life does. Here's what I learned yesterday during an incident at work:
- An "immediate" eviction order takes two weeks.
- Getting an appointment to file a restraining order takes a week.
This is not very convenient during a crisis.
Oh, and another occupational hazard: twelve(plus) hour days.
